Setting Up Call Forwarding to UniTalk Multi-Channel Numbers
You are not required to give up your existing, well-known client numbers to start benefiting from modern IP telephony. Call Forwarding to UniTalk Multi-Channel Numbers allows you to keep your “live” SIM number while gaining access to all the powerful features of our system: flexible scenarios, IVR menus, call recording, and multi-channel capability. This ensures that no call is missed, and your customer experience remains flawless.
How to set up Call Forwarding
When creating a project and connecting to telephony services, you gain the ability to set up scenarios for incoming and outgoing calls, and to choose and configure the path and method of their routing. One of these possibilities is setting up call forwarding to UniTalk multi-channel numbers.

If you have a number on a SIM card (for example, 38 050 000 00 00), but want to use it in SIP format via UniTalk (for example, on a rented multi-channel number 38 066 000 00 00), you need to set up unconditional call forwarding with your mobile operator.
⚙️ Steps for Setting Up Unconditional Call Forwarding:
- Rent a UniTalk number in SIP format. This can be done in the section “Calls” – “Settings” – “External Lines”. This will be your receiving number (38 066 000 00 00).
- Determine the type of forwarding. There are several types of forwarding:
- No answer
- Busy
- Unconditional forwarding (all calls are immediately redirected)
- Set up unconditional forwarding with your mobile operator using its special USSD command.
Example for Vodafone:
To set up unconditional forwarding, dial the command:
****21*xxx#**, where xxx is the UniTalk number in international format (21*380660000000#).
To disable forwarding, dial: *21# (for unconditional forwarding).
Important: When setting up forwarding with other operators, the command type and forwarding type must be clarified either in the call center or on the website of the respective operator.
By setting up call forwarding, you have effectively turned your existing number into a fully functional UniTalk multi-channel channel. This gives you maximum flexibility in call routing, the ability to integrate with CRM systems, and use all our tools for automation. You retain the recognition of your old number, but gain the reliability and functionality of modern IP telephony.
